Liam,
Over the past year, you have turned my world completely upside down, yet right-side up. Though you were an “accidental surprise,” your conception and entrance into this world couldn’t have been more timely. You saved me from me. On July 28th 2016, my journey as your mother began solely by God’s amazing grace. I never knew how easily my heart could evolve to love something so fiercely. The preciousness of life has never been so vivid. I’m floored at every “new” thing you learn and do, even if it’s something as simple as pointing your finger or feeding yourself. I am so excited to watch how the years unfold, but I pray they happen slowly. PLEASE GOD, let them come slowly.
We found out you were coming the Sunday before Christmas 2015. We told our family on Valentine’s Day 2016. A few days after Valentines Day, I had my first ultrasound and found out you had been growing for almost 4 months and you were a BOY! Here’s where we told the world March 10, 2016:

Would you agree that Liam’s Mom is a gifted photographer?. These are such precious shots of this, my sweet great grandson, Liam Lott. I love him so much. He is such a contented little fella and loves everybody. This is due to having loving parents and being in a Church Family. It gives me such satisfaction to see my daughter, Angie’s great love for this her first grandchild. This is also true of his grandfather, Alan. He has had the most pleasurable first birthday ever. I am so glad to have had a part in his celebration. Then also with Angie bringing him home with her to Live Oak and then on to St. George Island to be with my son, Kevin and his entire family and especially the two greats there, Hallie and Sadie, a 3 year old and a soon to be one year old. Liam did not sleep the entire time we were there so he took everything in with that family having so much fun. Another reason for my happiness yesterday, July 31, was his grandmother and my daughter, Angie’s birthday. It was a grand celebration of her life and she has always been such a blessing to me and her Daddy. Liam is so blessed to have Godly and talented parents, Lucas and Rachel Lott. It is so obvious on watching them with Liam of how so devoted to him as they are. They have made the statement of how they never knew how much they could love their baby boy. In this world today, that love will carry him through so many years, good and not so good. And last but not least, I so miss my husband and Liam’s great grandfather, Wheeler Thomas, as he would have been so much the more telling everyone he would meet about this great grandson. He was always so proud of his family and he loved getting one on one with somebody who would listen, all about his wonderful children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He did live to see 3 of his greats, from Rebekah Kaufmann, William, Gracie and barely saw Belle. Noah, Beka’s youngest was not born until after he left us. I have more to say about my baby daughter, Angelyn Dawn Thomas Lott as she had a milestone birthday yesterday. I will save my appreciation wishes on her page. Excuse me, Rachel, for giving such a long reply but that is who I am!
